Cowes in the Evening

There is a distinct lack of cows in Cowes, but never mind. We walked along the parade this evening looking for a place to have dinner. The town is very sleepy on a Sunday evening but that added to the charm - we were very happy to have an easy evening along the shore, lovely views of the Solent and a warm, quiet pub Sunday Roast. And back to Holly Tree House for a cup of tea and a restful night.

Day 7: Fenwick to Holy Island

  I can't believe it's the last day of the walk. In some ways it's gone so slowly - looking back on the posts from day 1 and 2 s...
